Aspire Promotions, in partnership with Tooba Africa Foundation, proudly hosted world-renowned Qāri Sheikh Mohammad Ayyub Asif in South Africa for three consecutive years from 2023, marking one of the most impactful Qur’ān recitation tours in the country. The tour also featured his brothers, Qāri Ebrahim Asif and Qāri Ismaeel Asif, accompanied by their father and two personal assistants, reflecting the scale and professionalism of the programme.
The nationwide tour spanned Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth, and Cape Town, with extensive masjid programmes, youth-focused engagements, and live television and radio broadcasts aimed at inspiring the next generation through the beauty of the Qur’ān. Beyond formal programmes, the delegation experienced curated site visits across South Africa and was warmly welcomed by the rich and diverse Cape Town culture.
Having travelled extensively across the globe, the Asif brothers have expressed that South Africa remains their favourite country to visit, highlighting the deep connection and lasting relationships built through this tour.
